Vintage Peacock Chair Love....

I hope this note finds you all enjoying a MARVELOUS weekend....It's been a busy day here & I've just come in after cleaning today's finds....I was just about to head back out when it occurred to me that I hadn't shown you any of my Saturday Finds for quite some time....!!

Well I'm HAPPY to report it's been a GREAT day for Treasures....I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these AWESOME PEACOCK chairs from the 1970's....
Dusty as ALL GET OUT....Well not now 'cause I cleaned them....They are both structurally sound & in DELICIOUS condition....
Not a piece of broken wicker to be found on either....YAYYYYYYYYY....
I can just seen them in my minds eye after a visit with a can of sky blue spray paint....
Or bright orange....
Or mint green....**sigh**....
And I found SIX of these WAY COOL 60's dining chairs....
Structurally sound they just need some new upholstery & they're ready to go....All of these items are off to my stall at Glen Waverley tomorrow....Though I MAY eBay them so if anyone's interested, leave a comment on this post & i'll get in touch with you....!!!

Now I must away....Daylights a burnin'....

Cheers for now,
Tamarah :o)

  1. I am wondering why those peacock chairs are giving me an anxious feeling? Perhaps a bad childhood memory... but sky blue or mint green would soften that thought! xxxx

  2. 60's chairs = awesome, and my girlies would kill for a peacock chair in their bedroom. I like the second one best, with the twisty base x

  6. Lovely finds. I had one of those chairs in 1982, it was a wedding gift. HA Ha. Would love to see it in all of those colors. And I love those mid century chairs as well.

  7. Hi Tamarah, I'm wondering how much will you be selling your peacock chairs for? I've been on a search looking for one but cannot seem to find.

  8. Those peacock chairs -- wow! I had one as a kid in the 70's and loved it!! I never seem then so how lucky are you to have found two?!
And mine was mint green to go with my funky 70's bedding.

    Good times.
